Catch a wave at Kiwanis Wave Pool

Kiwanis Wave Pool does not disappoint when it comes to water fun. This climate-controlled pool features 3-foot waves in various patterns and features a 122-foot-long spiral water slide. Rafts and tube rentals are also available. The Wave Pool is open for the season — 1 to 5 p.m. — every Saturday in April, Saturdays and Sundays in May, and every day waves begin on Monday, June 1. Visit Arizona Mills

You can easily spend the entire day at this indoor mall. Home to a mile of retail stores and outlets, Arizona Mills is also a hotspot for entertainment, including these experiences:

Bubble Planet
Open since February, Bubble Planet is a voyage through fantastical, pastel landscapes that are designed to appeal to all five senses. SEA LIFE Arizona Aquarium
Get up close and personal with thousands of aquatic creatures at SEA LIFE Arizona Aquarium. Located at Arizona Mills, this 26,000-square-foot aquarium features interactive touch pools and a 360-degree tunnel that allow visitors to come face-to-face with the under-the-sea animals, including sharks and rescued sea turtles. Hall of Flame Fire Museum
Explore the history of firefighting through exhibits that include restored fire trucks, fire gear and more. The collection, which dates back as far as 1725, includes items from around the world.
