Summer has not officially started, but in Tempe, Arizona, the temperature begs to differ. As the hot weather persists, there are only two things you can do to help survive the upcoming months: air conditioning and pool lounging. Those who live in Tempe may even look forward to this time of year as there are plenty of cool places to escape the heat, one of which includes hotel pools. Lucky for us in Tempe, hotel pools make for a perfect oasis during the summer. While you will find most hotels do offer pools as an added perk to stay at their property, there is nothing quite like relaxing at a pool on the rooftop level. Believe it or not, rooftop pools never use to be the norm in Tempe, but as of late, new construction of hotels have implemented rooftop pools and now we can see why. Rooftop pools offer a vantage point like no other, and they create exceptional views that are untouchable and unobstructed by anything else. Rooftop pools just hit different, and you must experience them for yourself. Check out these rooftop pools and see why we can’t stop bragging.

I’m no fortune teller, but I have a feeling that the newest rooftop pool that is about to hit the scene this summer will be the ultimate destination for rooftop hanging. The Westin Tempe will be ready to elevate your experience at their rooftop lounge and infinity pool starting late summer-early fall 2021, and we’re already swooning over the details. With expansive views overlooking Downtown Tempe, The Westin Tempe will offer a place where you can sip, savor and enjoy their rooftop pool in style!
Hyatt Place and Hyatt House are dual properties, and they are the latest to open a rooftop pool. Although you can lounge around, this location is more for a quick dip and social hang-out. But don’t let this intimate pool setting fool you, as it probably hosts one of the best views in the rooftop game. Enjoy views of ASU Sun Devil Stadium and the new developments happening east of University Drive or, wait till the sun goes down and enjoy all the city lights. You can also order from the indoor/outdoor bar, which is equipped with plenty of seating under string lights.
