ASU’s Movies on the Field series is back for fall at Mountain America Stadium (formerly Sun Devil Stadium). Bring a blanket, find a seat on the grassy gridiron and enjoy your favorite films on the big screen — under the stars — this season. Events are presented by ASU 365 Community Union and are open to ASU students and the public.

Jan 25. | Taylor Mac’s 24-Decade History of Popular Music
Experience the magic of “Taylor Mac’s 24-Decade History of Popular Music,” a captivating documentary featuring Taylor Mac’s one-of-a-kind, 24-hour immersive theatrical performance. Through elaborate costumes and stunning musical renditions with a 24-piece orchestra, Mac reimagines U.S. history through the lens of popular music.
Before the film, experience a unique scavenger hunt and a special discussion featuring playwright and performer Taylor Mac and former NFL player, LGBTQ+ advocate and singer Esera Tuaolo as they talk about music, sports and making queer history. Don’t forget to bring a blanket!
