Event Summary

The Desert Botanical Garden presents a spectacular lineup of talent for the Music in the Garden Fall Concert Series on select Friday evenings in October and November. Situated at the base of a butte, Ullman Terrace provides an unmatchable backdrop for audiences to enjoy the sounds of beloved favorites and discover new talent.

Doors open at 6 p.m.; attendees must be 21 or older.

Music in the Garden fall performance dates:


Oct. 6: Tati Crespo y Las Chispas

Tatiana Crespo is a Costa Rican singer-songwriter living in Phoenix. Her sound is a rich medley of Latin music styles, ranging from cumbias and folklorico to waltzes and bossa nova.

Oct. 13: Outside the Line
Voted Phoenix’s “Best Variety Band,” Outside the Line performs hot rockin’ funk, dance and Motown.

Oct. 20: Brian Chartrand
Singer/songwriter Brian Chartrand’s work ranges from solo acoustic numbers and unique arrangements of popular, contemporary songs to jamming with local band Ten Dollar Outfit, The Sweet Remains and the Voce Project.

Nov. 3: TBD

Nov. 10: Blue Stone Project
The Blue Stone Project brings award-winning Native American guitarist and flutist Aaron White, guitarist/bassist Gary Rasmussen and drummer Ed Michaels who produce a rock-oriented sound flavored by contemporary Native American life in America.

Nov. 17: Big Pete Pearson
In his career, Arizona’s “King of the Blues,” Big Pete Pearson, has played with and/or worked alongside B.B. King, Big Joe Turner, T-Bone Walker, Etta James, Muddy Waters and Ray Charles and Ike and Tina Turner.
